Over the last two years it has been responsible for leading innovative projects such as the award winning Maldon Shed project, from its base in Heybridge, Essex. As a Trustee I have the responsibility for providing strategic direction to the organisation, as well as ensuring it meets its charitable aims and the needs of its members. Being involved with Maldon & District CVS allows me to influence the direction of this crucial support to local charities and community groups as well as giving me an insightful overview of my local community. It has been an opportunity to develop personally and professionally.
