About Leah

Leah Selinger has over two decades of experience as a fundraiser and senior manager in the voluntary sector, and has spent the past decade running her own consultancy, Selinger Consultants, working with charities and social enterprises to become more effective, sustainable and financially resilient.

Her consulting work covers governance, strategy and income generation, including board effectiveness reviews, theory of change development and income diversification strategies. She has particular depth in the social welfare, criminal justice and arts sectors, and is known for pragmatic, evidence-based advice that reflects real sector knowledge rather than off-the-shelf frameworks. Leah is also an experienced and engaging trainer and facilitator, delivering workshops on strategy and fundraising, and has developed online courses on application writing and pricing for income generation.

Prior to founding Selinger Consultants in 2012, Leah held Director of Fundraising posts at Youth Music and Fairbridge, a youth development charity. Leah is Chair of Governors at a primary school in Hertfordshire, and is Chair of Trustees at Watford Women’s Centre.
