How to: update your Blumer profile

We're excited to launch our new Blumer profiles this Autumn!

Step-by-step guide to setting up your profile:

1. Log in and click on 'Edit my profile'


[While you are updating your profile you have the option of seeing what your profile looks like via the green (new profile) and orange (classice profile) buttons at the top.  Remember to save any changes before you click on these.]

2. Scroll down to 'What you can offer' and write a short sentence in the third person, which will appear at the top of your profile.

 

3.  Then rewrite your profile in the 3rd person.  This is to ensure consistency across all profiles.



4. Availability - update your availability (it appears on the right of the form) so that you are only contacted when you have the capacity to do the work.

5. Skills questionnaires - you do not have to re-enter the information on your questionnaires.  HOWEVER, if you are open to part-time or interim work you can now specify which roles you would like (e.g. Head of Fundraising, Finance Director, CEO, Bid Writer).  This section is on the last tab in each questionnaire.

6. Testimonials - you can now promote up to three testimonials on the main page of your profile.

You can either pick existing Blume testimonials or testimonisals from other sources.



Once you have updated your testimonials we will add logos for the relevant charities to ensure that the images are consistent.  So don't be disconcerted to see the Blume Leaf acting as a place-holder until this happens.
