“Taz and I worked together on an innovative EDEI training programme focusing on lived experiences which was delivered to frontline police officers and staff at Avon and Somerset Police. Taz delivered conversational workshops on LGBTQ+ communities, looking particularly at sexual orientation and gender identity. I was blown away by Taz's professionalism, expertise in the subject matter and in training itself, and her ability to be flexible so that we could meet around both our busy schedules. Taz truly inspired me in how she interacted and engaged with delegates during workshops. She really listened and attended to the thoughts and feelings of the delegates and her responses were so empathetic and conscientious. It was evident that, whilst the subject matter proved tricky/challenging for most delegate groups, Taz was really able to create a safe space that encouraged delegates to open up, reflect, and express themselves. Throughout this programme, Taz has been a wonderfully joyful colleague. Her values and characteristics make her an invaluable colleague and an exceptional trainer. She's an absolute dream to work with and made my life, as Programme Manager, so much easier by being so capable and so enthusiastic. I will absolutely keep her in mind for any future EDEI endeavours and know that she's an asset to any project or organisation she is involved with.”
