She worked with Disasters Emergency Committee colleagues to highlight crises around the world (e.g. Ukraine conflict, Turkey-Syria earthquake, flooding in Pakistan). Vishnee collaborated with Age UK media and PR colleagues to draw attention to issues affecting older people around the world, such as non-communicable diseases, as well as to showcase the economic contribution of older women and to call for the rights of older people to be recognised.”
