I have had a varied career in the not for profit and public sectors. This included about 5 years working in a senior management role at Christian Aid in strategy development and 11 years at Acas , the workplace conciliation and mediation organisation, where I managed a large department. Earlier in my career I taught as a secondary teacher for 5 years and was a vicar for 8 years. So I've been around a bit... I am now semi-retired and run my own language teaching business hosting foreign guests and volunteer at Citizens Advice which I love.
