Kristina started freelancing after witnessing the Covid-19 exposing weaknesses and vulnerabilities in the third sector. Kristina has been involved with social enterprises and fundraising for over 15 years, achieving both generalist and specialist expertise with a track record of successes in multiple fundraising streams, direct marketing, charity development and strategy, supporter care and event management. Kristina has worked for both local and national charities from the likes of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), the Society for the Protection of Animals Abroad (SPANA), Animal Defender International (ADI) to running a regional dog and cat rescue charity, Animal Rescue Cumbria, opening Moroccan Primate Conservation UK and also overseeing the development department at South East and Central Essex Mind. Passionate about animal welfare, Kristina is a published author in primatology after conducting a research study on the illegal photo prop trade of infant monkeys in Marrakech. She holds a MSc. in Wildlife Conservation and a professional qualification in Charity and Social Enterprise Management with the Anglia Ruskin University.
